From within a secondary school, students tell us about their personal experience with migration. They do it from their children’s perspective, in their own words, with their emotions and hesitations.
Their account convey the complexity of migration in its most intimate part – feeling of separation from loved ones, estrangement and loss while trying to adapt to the French society and dealing with the difficulties of everyday life for them and their families.
Echoing their narratives, a teacher talks about her role as a teacher, her responsibilities and the limits she faces. Together they say something about us, about being confronted to the "other" and values and contradictions in the French society.
