With an I.Q. below 60, they know neither how to read, write, nor count. Suffering from the syndrome of Williams, a rare genetic disease, these children have common characteristics : the same type of face, hypersensitive hearing, severe cardio-vascular disorders. But the most astonishing and unexpected feature is their gift for music.
This film offers a week living with these children, at a music course organised each year in the north of the state of New York. A week of powerful and endearing encounters, that encourages us to take a fresh look at the issue of mental handicap.
