This film is the portrait of a little village of 250 inhabitants in the centre of France and its mayor. To combat the desertion of his countryside, Yves Barrière, mayor of Farges-Allichamps realizes that it is absolutely vital to allow the villagers to take an active part in the decisions of the local council.
Scenes of everyday life at a time when France is in the throes of election turmoil.
