The film focuses on a symbol and product of communist propaganda of the fifties — the famous labor leader Wanda Gościmińska from Łódź — deconstructing the false mechanisms, beliefs and rituals of the totalitarian era. This "creative documentary" combines set design by conceptual artist Ewa Partum and cinematography by Zbigniew Rybczyński.
