"The Rosiers Housing Centre, built at the end of the fifties with its huge blocks of raw concrete looks something like a fortress. Unemployment, drug trafficking, the concentration of all the misery in the world would make the place explode if it were not for a formidable force of life: the aspiration quite simply to be able to love, earn a living and belong to society.
