Fatma is a twenty-five year old Turkish woman. To live a life free from the traditional ties of her family, she runs away to Italy. There she studies photography, adopting an exciting new and independent life. And of course she falls in love with an Italian man, David, with whom she lives happily... But what can she tell her father? Marriages have always been arranged in her Turkish family... Fatma decides to go back to Turkey. She takes us on her journey to conquer freedom and obtain her father's approval. In the meantime, David and his family have just landed in Istanbul to meet their "in-laws"...
