"Fear and learning at Hoover Elementary" is a personal narrative documentary about the disastrous effects of California's recently passed Proposition 187 which intends to deny public education and healthcare to undocumented (illegal) immigrants. This deeply personal and emotional story arose from the intense experience of one immigrant teacher who was forced to confront the depths of prejudice and community strife made apparent by this proposition.
