Erkang Yang who comes from Chengdu in the Sichuan province, used to run a small hydropower station in Yingxiu before the earthquake in May 2008. He survived along with his wife and grandfather but lost eight relatives and all the business he had struggled for throughout his lifetime. Even though it was really hard to go back to the ruins after the earthquake and to face all the sorrows, he tried to re-build his homeland with great determination.
