"Al-Urs" is the story of a traditional Riffian wedding seen through the eyes of the newly weds, Abdelkader and Husnia.
Preliminary activities, the men celebration, that of the women, the gift of a bull, the different dresses that the bride shows off during the night, the day of the wedding, the songs, the virginity test.
The documentary was filmed this summer in Uiksan, a village close to the Riffian town of Nador, in the North of Morocco. "Al-Urs" was shot by two videojournalist's teams, the women's team followed the bride and the masculine one the groom.
A celebration of manners in the Rif through the main characters.
