Agnus Dei
Alejandra Sánchez Orozco
2010 - 81 min - HDCam - Couleur - Mexique, France

Agnus Dei illustrates the tacit complicity between some religious members and families, who turn a blind eye on the priests sexual practices so that their children can be educated. Poverty and power of cassocks deal with the powerlessness of children : the explosive cocktail allowing this evil to persist in a liturgical silence. This is the story of a man, Jesus, who decides to take control of his own destiny : by facing the wall of silence around the church and denouncing his assailant, he recovers human dignity and finds his freedom.
