"Buying is Choosing" deals with our basic consuming activities: eating, dressing, travelling and personal finances. The film shows that consuming in the developed countries is not a neutral activity, that it has considerable damaging effects on the poor parts of the Globe.
Through interviews with activists working on establishing the concept and also an efficient network of fair trade between the rich and the poor countries, the film tries to open the minds to the responsibility of Western consumers.
