Born of the desire by actors involved in the valorization and distribution of works that have marked the history of cinema, television and, today, the web, the Cinémathèque du documentaire is a public interest grouping of partners from the public and private sectors, and makes up a network of structures disseminated throughout the country, some thirty odd today, more tomorrow.
What unites this network is a shared desire to raise public awareness of the richness of our documentary heritage; it is also the possibility to mutualize projects, giving them greater scope and wider publics
It is in this perspective and with the goal of working together within a shared approach that the national network is meeting at Lussas during one afternoon.
