A documentary film about a sports event demanding versatility and professional preparation — the modern pentathlon. We watch exhausting training and footage from the event while some questions lurk in our minds: what's the sense of all this and where's the limit of human possibilities in sport?
Bogdan Dziworski’s zenith in sport documentary is a wonderful visual poem, a portrait of the Polish Olympic champion Janusz Peciak and a meditation upon human endurance. The editing slowly mixes up the five sports until their inextricable unity.
