Saturday 11th March 1995. At the Videothèque de Paris. To blow out its 100 birthday candles, the cinema was having an auction sale.
By filming this ritual I tried to find an answer to the question that André Bazin asked one day : "...why do hazard and reality have more talent than all the film-makers in the world ?"
