L'Affaire LIP
Dominique Dubosc
1997 - 70 min - 16 mm - Noir & Blanc - France

The LIP conflict can be described as the most famous of the French factory strikes which took place within the 1968 contect of social contestation, but also as the first contemporary movement against unemployment.
Above all, the film shows that the workers' capacity to take initiative and to sustain action was rooted in their long-standing union practices, which led them to think collectively and share responsibilities in order to find the strength that was needed.
