On the Westman Islands, to the south of Iceland, we observe an ancient and unique ritual, a hunting technique handed down from father to son over generations : the hunting of puffins. To do this the island hunters must dominate the abrupt cliff faces where the colony nests ; the world's largest colony of these strange sea birds.
