Inspired by the Arabic Spring, a group of young Portuguese activists decide with their friends to organize a popular protest. Without any political support, they managed to mobilize half million people against the austerity’s measures, which boosted them to go further.
They decide to create a Citizenship Academy, to empower citizens and give them the tools to save democracy. In a world in which people don’t trust politicians anymore, "Dreamocracy" brings us another look on contemporary activism that begins small, at home with social networks but yet searching for real social change.
