Thursday night at 8:30 pm, in a vast and sandy football pitch, a free movie projection is taking place. A movie which Vieu Dindin sees as a pacifying message, one that fights against the prejudices which hang over Cap skiring, a small seaside resort formerly prized by westerners.
Scenes from daily life follow one another; some confide and testify, while others dance and sing. All of them living in the hope of a rebirth of the old prosperity and value of their native region, the Casamance, better known as the house of the kings.
