A large cardboard box left forgotten in a cellar. Dozens of 8 mm film reels. A few details about place and dates. Home movies and images filmed in twenty or so psychiatric clinics. The forgotten archives of the psychiatrist, George Daumezon. Catherine Bernstein appropriated this dumb, polymorphic and incomplete material. Of the meeting of these two filmmakers was born "Asylum".
