The idea for this series came from a request by the Ministry of Culture. The aim was to produce films about cultural actions carried out in France these last ten years.
The cultural events presented in the series are not highlighted in themselves but priority is given to presenting the actual economic, social and human conditions in which they were carried out and made public.
The films answer three decentralization, scale (to associate local and individual actions with the big projects at a national and regional level) and finally to follow a presentation by themes, so that the whole series should make an even presentation of all of the Ministry's activities.
