During an internship the young Tara finds out the intellectual limelight and the commitment of Christine and Catherine who founded the Violette and Co Parisian feminist bookshop.
From art exhibitions to whispered conversations in the middle of the books through literary gatherings in the second floor, which regulars know very well, the documentary questions without any interview in accordance to the "direct cinema", the daily transmission of feminist culture.
It shows works, names and women’s faces that we scandalously do not know enough if we are not specialists or activists. With Tara Baret, Christine Lemoine, Catherine Florian and Michèle Perrot.
