Yeung Faï, embodies the fifth and last generation of a great dynasty of Chinese puppeteers. This documentary proposes a portrait of this artist in his long and difficult career, which, at the price of multiple events, knew to affirm his work thanks to his determination and his perseverance.
He now lives in France, in Charleville-Mézières, the capital of the puppet, and there he must regularly renew his residence permit under 'cultural refugee'.
Very involved with the École Nationale Supérieure of Arts of the Puppet of Charleville-Mézières, he teaches and suppors students of the 9th promotion to their show graduation.
His new show "Blue jeans", is within a "jeans" factory in China. For him, the " puppet documentary " is a commitment that stimulates his imagination and ours.
