Yémen, le cri des femmes
Manon Loizeau
2013 - 53 min - Couleur - France

Since January 2011, the revolution the world forgot has been underway in Yemen. Manon Loizeau has filmed the women’s uprising in Yemen, following the struggle of three individual women: Tawakol Karman – Nobel Peace Prize winner in 2011, Nadia Abdullah – who represents youth in the national dialogue, and Ehsan Dogesh – who camped out with her five children on the Square of Change for two years.
Each in their own way, these women incarnate the incredible gain in freedom of speech for the women of Yemen.
