The reveal the hidden face of our planet, that is the ambition of "Voyage under ground", by bringing the viewer right down into the depths of the earth to discover the most beautiful and unusual wonders and life forms found there.
This film presents the adventure of a team of speleologists who have set out to capture images that reveal to the public the incredible forms and colours of a natural heritage that is not widely known.
What are the true origins of caves ? How were they carved out of the rock ? Are they all the same or, to the contrary, are they caused by a wide range of different phenomena ? Can life survive and adapt in such a hostile environment ?
That is what we will try to discover throughout this voyage under ground that will bring us from the volcanic lava tubes of Lanzarote to the ice caves of Austria and from the sunken depths of the Fontaine de Vaucluse to the most secret crystals palaces of the French Pyrénées mountains.
