In Spain, a traditionally macho country, mentalities are gradually changing. These last thirty years, women became freer, more autonomous and educated. They entered to the Parliament.
But this progress is not only due to the feminist fights. Some traditions, in particular matriarchy helped in that way. However, the road is long until the women can have the same professional chances compared to the men. From the Pyreneans to Andalusia, Maryse Bergonzat went to the encounter of four women with different ages and paths to understand how they created themselves a new space.
