A big fan of genre films of the 70’s, house painter Moncef Kahloucha shoots hilarious VHS fictions with the help of his fellow inhabitants in populated neighbourhood Kazmet in Sousse, Tunisia. He is in charge of production, of direction and of the leading role. The shootings give his neighbours the opportunity to escape their gloomy every-day lives and to experience intense moments, from preparation down to screening in the nearby café. Our camera followed Kahloucha while he was wrapping up his latest opus: "Arabic Tarzan".
