Ahmed Nour
2013 - 70 min - Couleur - Égypte, Maroc

In the extraordinary Egyptian city of Suez, the Egyptian Revolution was born. The filmmaker features its conflict and invites the audience to share his internal outlook at the highlights of his life. Each period is described as a wave and each wave has a special visual and auditory theme inspired by the ebb and flow of the tide. Threw the director’s voice over, animation scenes and a poetic style of sound design and cinematography, the film describes the mental and psychical structure of the currently so-called "Egyptian revolution’s generation”. The film tries to decode key events in both ancient and modern history of Egypt in order to understand its present and future.
