The night is so clear that the celestial vault seems almost palpable. The fire is not turned off yet. Some big white smokes curls still escape from the fire. An old man is about to gather the last braises before returning to his home. He is 100 years old and he walks under this starred sky, leaving behind him the footsteps of a life of no mystery.
Romain Carcanade brings an eye on his grand-father, Maurice, living alone in the Varoise forest. He films his everyday life, the vital nature around him, the remembrance of an entire century of memories and his wandering when the end of life is close.
