The Iran-USA football match during the World Cup 1998 (2 goals to 1 for the Iranians) showed the whole world the passion of Iranians for football.
Through a series of portraits of supporters a certain idea of "Iranity" takes form which brings together the Iranians from inside and those that a diaspora presents at the four corners of the earth.
Today, the Iranian team continues to reap success, and is presented as one of the most serious Asian candidates for the World Cup 2002 in Japan and Korea.
