This documentary is the narrative of a 9-month battle against injustice in a Breton village. One winter morning, the villagers of Montfort sur Meu woke up to a disastrous scenario: the immigration police had arrested 23 workers. Originally from Mali, they had been working there for many years and were an integral part of community.
Sidy and Mari were immediately put on a plane back to Bamako.
The others have been sent to a detention centre and must return in their country at their own expense.
The community is united in reclaiming the return of the immigrants, from the parish priest, to the town mayor, to the football trainer...
