Jean-Claude Riga
2006 - 58 min - Betacam & DV Cam - Couleur et Noir & Blanc - Belgique

"I am a guy who says what he believes, more than a filmmaker..." said Director Paul Meyer (1920-2007). In the fifties, Meyer founds the Belgian Cinema, in the same time the censorship strikes his movies speaking about the working class conditions: Klinkaart (1956) as well as "Et déjà s'envole la fleur maigre" (1959), "Le Pain quotidian" (1964) and "La Mémoire aux alouettes" which Meyer began at the age of 80 and which remains unfinished. A stroll with Meyer under the eye of the social censorship of memory.
