By means of the portrait of a group of teenagers, this film deals with commitment and tries to understand how an awareness of politics is born and how by waking up tothe world, one analyses it and thinks about changing it, improving it.
The film proposes to follow a group of militant teenagers who are involved in a little known group : Les Diffuseurs de l’Etincelle (originally the name was "Le Socialisme par le Bas"). They are profoundly anti-capitalist, and believe that another world is possible. Although they have Lenin and Marx as their references in history, they are in phase with the present, and take part in all the anti-globalisation movements of our time (Millau, Montpellier, Genoa, etc.).
