Pascal Poissonnier
2011 - 72 min - HD - Couleur - Belgique
Belgium, 2010-2011. During the longest political crisis ever, director Pascal Poissonnier filmed for over more than a year a couple of leading political journalists during there daily work. An odyssey through journalism and politics and how they love one another.
In a direct cinema style, Pascal Poissonnier follows a couple of leading political journalists (from TV, radio and written press and from the French and Dutch communities of Belgium), through their daily quest for a scoop, and discovers the relationship between the Belgian media and its politicians.
The 2010 federal government negotiations – which are bound to go into history as a breaking point in Belgium’s politics – will be the backdrop for the film.
