Presented in the form of a “note” book, filmmaker and musician Frank Cassenti evokes the creation of the Porquerolles Jazz Festival that is celebrating its tenth anniversary. The festival was the dream of a group of jazz enthusiasts who wanted to place musicians and their relationship to others at the heart of the event. Musicians from around the world come together to evoke this “other world” that is so close and yet so far away.
