I met Matéo Maximoff when he was celebrating his 80th birthday ! He is the first and one of the few gipsy writers. He has devoted his life to defending his people and their value throughout the world and in every possible way.
First of all a writer, he became a historian and acquired a taste for collecting and listing all the documents and traces that concern gipsies.
