The starting point was a symbolic date, the night of 31 December to 1 January 2000, a pretext for testifying in an unusual way to the Paris of 12 film-makers.
One year, twelve months, so twelve film-makers. The "twelve" were to turn one by one the pages of the Parisian calendar of the year 1999.
