Louisa is twenty-three when she has to face the fact that she can’t hear anymore. All her life she has tried hard to be like everyone else. Communication, a constant fight of lip reading, ever fearing to fail. Louisa starts studying sign language and learns to find her own ways. Against all seemingly odds, she decides not to get a hearing implant, and finally decides to move out from her parents.
