"Beloved Lady" is the nick-name given by the village of Aït Hichem to the young teacher who stayed with them in Kabylie from 1937 to 1939.
Fifty years later, she has been invited back to celebrate the publication of her book and the exhibition of her work, giving public recognition to the ethnographical notes and photographs she took at that time.
