Les Moissons de l'utopie
Yves Billon
1995 - 52 min - Betacam SP - Couleur - France

In the years 1968-70 and after the Ardèche experienced the arrival of an originally urban population in conflict with capitalist society, in flight from towns and the consumer society. They were called "hippies", "long-haired", "bourrus" and "babas".
Today, those who have stayed on don't talk much any more about the reasons for their return to the land. They are more concerned with underlining their concerns and worries in common with the rural population, rather than underlining their singularity or signs of a different way of life.
