The series takes us to four breathtaking sites around the world : Pakistan and the ancient city of Mohenjo Daro on the banks of the river Indus, Sri Lanka where a project is restoring the "Cultural Triangle", Tunisia in the site of the mythical city of Carthage, once the second biggest city in the world, and finally Israel on the trail of the Crusaders.
The archeologist devotes his time and energy attempting to understand the lifestyles of the past and to reconstruct their history. The series provides us with a unique opportunity to share in the adventure of some of the most extraordinary discoveries of recent years. These films will enable us to "unearth" some of the mysteries surrounding these ancient cities and monuments, and will give us the elements necessary to achieve a deeper understanding of the people who built them.
