A portrait of the Larzac Plateau today, its battle-hardened inhabitants, its spectacular landscapes – and its sheep. An unapologetically subjective picture of a region profoundly marked by the struggles of the 1970s, when the French military's attempt to expropriate a vast swathe of farmland was roundly defeated by massive resistance. Today both the veterans of those conflicts and the many newcomers who came out of solidarity and remained are still struggling mightily for a healthy agriculture and a better world.
