There are angels in Nepal ! They are the men and women who try to project the children in carpet factories and the trafficking of adolescent girls towards the brothels of Bombay. These youngsters, suffering through drugs and AIDS, are among the most deprived on earth.
Having been obliged to take to clandestinity under the old regime, the Nepalese "guardian angels" now operate openly in little local groups. With them there is Agnès, a stylist, known and celebrated in the velvety world of fashion by the name of Agnès, "Bamboo Tiger".
Agnès certainly has a big heart, but no more than anyone else. She is like everyone else. Before she was carefree and gay, now Agnès is revolted. She has put her revolt into practice and takes us through the streets of Katmandu and the surroundings to meet this reality that she has decided to fight.
