At the beginning of August, Japanese and foreign pacifists gather in Hiroshima and Nagasaki to commemorate the nuclear bomb victims. They participate in international conferences against nuclear arms and peace walks. They visit the Memorial Museum of the nuclear bomb and listen to the testimonies of the hibakushas, the survivors of the bomb. The film follows a French pacifist, Annie Frison, president of the Bourges committee of the Movement for Peace, which is part of the French delegation.
