Mohamed, Messaoud or Ramdane are residents of the Sonacotra hostel in Romainville like three hundred other men. They arrived as young men in France, worked hard to build the motorways and the new towns.
Many of them have a house in their country, sometimes also a wife and children. Today they are retired, they have not left their bedrooms in the Paris suburbs...
