Soisy-sur-École, is a 2,000 inhabitants' little village in France. I knew Brahim there, the only Arab man of the village. The only, until the arrival of Mustapha who came to purchase the grocery. That's in this little shop that the encounter between the two men happens, thousand kilometres away from their native Morocco. Since, Mustapha has no rest but to help Brahim to cheer up.
After 22 years of exile, Brahim has become a no foxed address man. A drunkard, living in the woods. Mustapha will give him the possibility to live no longer as a clandestine man, to go back to see his Moroccan family stayed 22 years in the effacement, and above all to find him a job, intrusting him the management of the grocery.
In few years, Brahim will becoming the most beloved, the most essential man to this Parisian area little village's life. And last year, back to Morocco, Brahim didn't survive to the consequences of his black years. Today, in Soisy, Mustapha must learn to carry on without the one he loved more than a brother, to carry on with "life without Brahim".
