"La Coïncidence du voile" is an intimist film which sets out to discover oriental dancing through the sensations connected with the practice of this out-of-phase dancing - compared with the western world -, rich in symbols and quite extraordinary.
These are sensations gathered during a course thanks to the remarks of four young Parisian women, whether or not originally from North Africa, who analyse their relationship with oriental dancing.
"La Coïncidence du voile", or how oriental dancing can be a link with the past, with femininity, with identity.
