Each episode chronicles the adventure of a diver with a passion for a specific aspect of the underwater world. It is through the eyes of these sea lovers that we visit some of the most beautiful diving sites of the world.
"Underwater encounters" is a cross between a marine documentary series and human dreams. Filmed all over the world, each protagonist is remarkable for his incredible passion and life style, as he demonstrates his knowledge, his scuba-diving techniques, and above all his dream come true. The audience acquires a unique knowledge of the diver's relationships with wildlife as well as an understanding of the underwater world.
Discovering with the divers, the viewers escape into fabulous underwater sites, which span from the warm waters of Polynesia to the freezing depths surrounding Van Couver Island.
