Autopsie d'un mythe
David Teyssandier
2002 - 52 min - Beta numérique - Couleur - France
In 1764, death was prowling in Gévaudan. The largest hunt ever organised to find an enemy who was perhaps nothing more than an ordinary animal. The King's dragoons scoured the countryside in Search of clues and eyewitnesses, but for three long years, Man and the gods faced failure and affronts. The number of dead grew to over one hundred, mainly women and children. The first serial killer in history flouted the King's authority.
