L'Yvette
Joëlle Janssen
2003 - 54 min - DV Cam - Couleur - France

This film takes us to meet Yvette whom the film-maker has known for over thirty years. A peasant woman at heart, at the age of 70, she invents everyday a way of being which quite simply resists the dominant model.
With the portrayal of her kind of life, the film defends the idea that our society, which partly comes from this rural world, must not forget it in order better to manage its future.
As Yvette says with her daily optimism : "no-one understands us maybe, in the new world now, but I believe we’ll come back to it in time ..."
But for that, we have to transmit. "We learn things from each other ..."
