Manuel Faouen was 13 years old when he went on board of "Salam", the sailing board of "The While Whale", with 7 other children. During 9 months, Manuel who is blind from birth but who is educated in a specialized school, will live a fascinating trip, an adventure without image...
During the navigation and stops in Corsica, Greece or Egypt, he will discover the sea world, new sensations and, for the first time, will face the sighted people's world. The other children will also have to face a new situation with their handicapped friend.
This film deals with the evolution of a group of young travellers through their evidence, their questions, their fears, their failures or their delights.
